Two English chefs, with a
wealth of world wide culinary experience between them. Jointly
run interactive yet relaxed cooking classes at their newly
renovated home, Mas D`Arneix, in the Dordogne They live in a
huge ten bed roomed house together with Jack aged 11 and Kit age
1, oh yes and two beautiful friendly golden retrievers.
How did we come to live in
this beautiful part of France? Well it’s a long story:
After many years of working in
five star hotels and Michelin starred restaurants around the
world, including
The Portman Intercontinental
The Mirabelle
The Waterside Inn, Bray, for the
Roux Brothers
Hilton International Park
Lane, Schipol, Hong Kong, and Guam,
Little Dix Bay, British Virgin
Islands
We decided it was time to
return home to England and settle down which duly we did. Both
relatively happy in new found careers, still catering but from a
slightly different perspective. This time Directors dining, for
blue collar workers in the City, and Surrey country side.
Finally we decided that we
both had itchy feet and wanted to travel again. After several
holidays in France, we made the decision to start our own
business here in the beautiful French country side.
We have received full City and
Guilds culinary qualifications, Trained with some of the best
chefs in the world, gained gold and silver medals at The
Culinary Olympics in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Hotel Olympia. We
have travelled far and wide to experience food, cultures, and
customs of this wonderful world.
With all this knowledge and
experience we feel that we truly have a feast of information to
