Mas Darneix is our
huge 10 bed roomed house set in the rolling French country side
approximately six kilometres from the picturesque villages of St
Pierre de Frugie, St Priest les Fougeres and the local small
town of La Coquille. The surrounding countryside is very
peaceful enabling you to relax and unwind during your stay with
us. Take a stroll through one of the many guided walks and enjoy
the best of rural France if the weather be inclement we can
provide wellies and waterproofs!
You will be
staying in your own comfortable
en-suite bedrooms.

The guest
accommodation is centrally-heated. You
will have your own spacious double en suite bedroom
with French doors leading to the garden. Each room has its own tea
and coffee making facilities. The guest accommodation is
independently situated on the ground floor for your comfort and
tranquillity No noise from our children!!
The all
white bathrooms contain (modern WC's, sinks and
showers. Large
fluffy towels are also provided).
The house
overlooks picturesque fields and lakes in the heart of the
French countryside.
There is a
large garden, a sun terrace and a covered outdoor eating area,
just perfect for a fantastic barbeque or dinner by starlight in
the heat of the summer with a glass of locally produced wine in
your hand.
During the
summer months a pool is available for your use, perfect for a
dip to cool off perhaps after a mornings cooking or for just a
lazy hour or two, should you desire.
We also
have a vegetable and herb garden where we use our own home grown
produce in our cooking classes.

The cooking
takes place in our beautiful contemporary
light and airy kitchen,.
There are stainless steel range cookers, polished stone work
surfaces, fully integrated appliances and State of the Art
refrigeration.
The kitchen
is spacious with two central demonstration islands and
hands-on preparation areas.
It is fully equipped with all modern conveniences. Steaming
hot tea and coffee or chilled juices are always available.

Leading
off from the kitchen, through French doors you will find a huge
open plan dining room with a long farmhouse table; where you
will enjoy the delicious meals we will prepare together. This in
turn leads on to a spacious light and airy guest lounge with
comfy sofas, wide screen TV, DVD and HIFI. Should you also need
to use the internet this is also available. We have a wood
burner for the cooler months . Our covered outdoor dining area
provides welcome relief from the intense sun during the heat of
the summer. The decked patio gives views over the garden and the
superb surrounding country side. Wonderful for sitting and
taking the most civilized of afternoon teas.
